Greens Equo
Verdes Equo
A Spanish political party registered with the Ministry of the Interior on 18 February 2011. Since May 2013, it has been part of the European Green Party, which had supported it since its inception. Globally, it holds observer status with the Global Greens.
On November 15 and 16, 2025, the party held its 2nd Policy Conference, announcing the renewal of its ideological platform and a name change to "Green Party". However, it cannot use that designation because the name was already registered by another political party in the Ministry of the Interior's Registry of Political Parties on 24 September 1982.
In the Congress of Deputies, thanks to an agreement reached with Más País, the party held one seat—held by Inés Sabanés—from 2019 to 2023. In the Madrid Assembly, it is represented by Alejandro Sánchez Pérez, María Pastor, and Paz Serra, who were elected as part of the Más Madrid-Verdes Equo coalition.
