A Spanish political party operating within the Community of Madrid that advocates for left-wing, environmentalist, and feminist policies.
The party's key figures were Manuela Carmena and Íñigo Errejón, who founded and registered it with the Ministry of the Interior in February 2019 under the name Más Madrid (MM) to contest the May 2019 municipal and regional elections in Madrid. A few months after its founding, and with the aim of running in the November 2019 Spanish general election, the party chose to rename itself Más País (MP) in September 2019. Ultimately, following poor results in the national parliamentary elections, the party reverted to its original and current name, Más Madrid (MM), in November 2020.
The party's founding process concluded in 2020; since then, Mónica García and Manuela Bergerot have served as co-spokespersons, with Rita Maestre serving as the third co-spokesperson (a role she has held since November 2023).
Currently, the party holds seats in various municipal councils across the Community of Madrid and serves as the leading opposition party in the Madrid Assembly as part of the MM-VQ coalition. It participated in the most recent general election as part of the Sumar coalition, securing two seats in the Congress of Deputies. Additionally, it holds a seat in the Senate via an appointment from the Madrid Assembly. Finally, its co-spokesperson, Mónica García, heads the Spanish Government's Ministry of Health.
