A small far-right political party founded in 1993 by LDPR dissidents Sergei Zharikov and Andrei Arkhipov from their wing of the short-lived National Radical Party.
The party was founded in May 1993 from the Sergei Zharikov-Andrei Arkhipov wing of the National Radical Party. The other wing, led by Eduard Limonov, became the National Bolshevik Party.
The PRP's most prominent activity is the magazine "Ataka" (Attack) edited by Zharikov (called "To the Axe" before it was banned in October 1993).
In 1994, together with the Front of National Revolutionary Action, the PRP held a rally in support of Afrikaners at the South African embassy.
In 1994, the party took part in the second Congress of Russian Communities.
The party was dissolved in 1996. After several unsuccessful political projects, Andrei Arkhipov worked for the radical newspaper Stringer and served as an assistant to a State Duma deputy from the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia (LDPR). The few members of the PRP worked in the staff of the State Duma Committee on Geopolitics and played a key role in hearings and seminars organized by the Committee on Geopolitics.
