Salvemos al Perú

(Let's Save Peru)

The Salvemos al Perú party was founded on 30 August 2021 and registered on 29 May 2023 with the National Elections Board.

In 2025, the party attempted to form an alliance with the Ahora Nación party, but internally split over this issue. At the time, the party's president, Guillermo Suárez Flores, rejected the joint registration, while its secretary general, César Gamboa, confirmed the party's General Assembly's decision in support of the alliance. Ultimately, the National Elections Board suspended the alliance's registration. Ahora Nación responded by withdrawing its attempt to re-register the alliance, while Salvemos al Perú accused Chau's leadership of lacking initiative.

According to the party, it defines itself as a centrist and progressive movement, although its discourse occupies an intermediate position with nuances of both the center-right and the center-left. The party emphasizes the family, individual liberty, dialogue and consensus, the independence of political powers, the defense of the social market economy and free enterprise, and the fight against social exclusion and corruption. Its platform focuses on equality, housing creation, healthy food, and technological development. The party's ideology advocates a moderate right-wing stance in economic and institutional-republican matters and a left-wing stance in the social sphere.

President: Julio César Gamboa Cerna
