On 19 May 2025, ID and United Peruvians: We Are Free!, then associated with former supreme prosecutor Tomás Gálvez, announced an electoral alliance. Grozo said they intended to apply for its registration by the end of June. RPP announcement. In 2026 Peruvian general election, Wolfgang Grozo got 0.38% of the vote.
ID has submitted candidates for the October 2026 regional and municipal elections, but it did not register enough lists to satisfy the minimum territorial-participation requirement. El Comercio therefore includes ID among the parties whose registration will be cancelled, while clarifying that these cancellations take effect from 1 January 2027.
ID declares itself a centrist, humanist and republican party. Its programme advocates moderation, the rule of law, separation of powers, a secular state, cultural tolerance and a "social market economy." La República reported that Wolfgang Grozo was generally considered a centrist, while also recording his own more revealing description of himself as a "conservative" but not an extremist, a moderate conservative.
