Team Bratislava

A city party of the mayor of Bratislava, Matúš Vallo. It was founded before the 2022 municipal elections. The party's founding congress was held on 3 June 2022.

The Team Bratislava party was founded as a transformation of the Team Vallo initiative from the 2018 municipal elections. This initiative brought together experts whose goal was to improve life in Bratislava. This initiative led to the creation of the Bratislava Manifesto, called Plan Bratislava.

The party applied to the Ministry of the Interior on 1 April 2022, to establish the party. This happened after it collected more than 12,700 signatures in 6 weeks.

In addition to Matúš Vall, the preparatory committee consisted of the current Bratislava deputy mayors Tatiana Kratochvílová, Lenka Antalová Plavuchová, city deputy Igor Polakovič, and the organizer of the Atmosféra festival Margaréta Pavlovová. The party also brings together other people from the city's municipal politics and local activists.

The city party achieved great success in the 2022 municipal elections. 90% of the city candidates were elected and 84% of the candidates for city districts.

Out of 124 candidates, 106 won a mandate. The party also won 4 mayors.

One of the projects of the Team Bratislava party is the four-day "New Generation Festival" Camp Bratislava. Its goal is to strengthen the relationship of young people with the capital and involve them in improving the environment in which they live.

The festival is intended for young people under the age of 35. The program usually takes place in several locations throughout the capital and is based primarily on lectures, discussions and workshops. The first year took place in June 2022.
