New Lantmanna Party

A political party in Sweden that was formed in January 1888, as a breakaway from the Lantmanna Party. It was conservative, nationally oriented and pro-tariff. The founders of the party were the farmers Anders Peter Danielsson, Liss Olof Larsson, Nils Petersson in Runtorp and the gentlemen Erik Gustaf Boström and Gustaf Fredrik Östberg. The party reunited with the Old Lantmanna Party during the beginning of the 1895 Riksdag.
