Falange Española de las JONS
(Spanish Phalanx of the Councils for the National Syndicalist Offensive)
A Spanish far-right falangist political party formed in October 1976, during the Spanish Transition. They proclaim themselves heirs to the historic Falange Española, founded by José Antonio Primo de Rivera in 1933 and unified with the JONS of Ramiro Ledesma in 1934. They consider that this party was dissolved in April 1937, when, during the Spanish Civil War, General Francisco Franco decreed the unification of Falange Española de las JONS and the Traditionalist Communion, along with the other factions participating in the rebel side, creating a single party called Falange Española Tradicionalista y de las Juntas de Ofensiva Nacional Sindicalista, later known as the National Movement.
National Chief: Raimundo Fernández-Cuesta (4 October 1976–July 1983) Diego Márquez Horrillo (July 1983–26 June 2011) Norberto Pico (26 June 2011–present)
